Bill Cameron comes from a diverse background when it comes to martial arts, having trained in Boxing, Nihon Goshin Aikido, and Traditional Japanese Jiu-Jitsu before leaving behind tradition and focusing on his ground game.

To start his ground training, Bill began studying at Brausa Academy. After two years of training traditional Brazilian JiuJitsu, he decided to fight in a local Cage Fighting event, Rage in the Cage. Between 1999 and 2001, Bill fought 13 times posting an impressive winning record of 12-1, and earned the nickname 'The Cannon' for his explosive speed and punching power. In April 2000, he was named Fighter of the Month and was ranked #1 RITC Welterweight for 3 years in a row.

After becoming the head Mixed Martial Arts instructor at Brausa Academy, he lead a team of fighters to an impressive 80% winning record. A record that still stands today.
